The drive to cross the Missouri border seemed it had taken hours of operose patience to finally arrive in another state, but that was just the anxiety of a teenage boy. The view was by far country like as hints of cow mire could be smelled far from a distance. We drive through atrophied towns, half the size of ours, which amazed me.
The scenery had overwhelmed us, as lumps of body politic from a cracking distance turned to perfectly forge hills, but as we got closer and closer to our destination the hills no longer were hills anymore, instead the hills had transformed to massive mountains of various sizes. These mountains contact our every view as if we had sunken into a great big deep hole of green pastures. It seemed as if we were lost in a maze following the twists and turns of the cork-screw path called roads. Finally, we took the caput boggling windy road that crept up the mountain into our recreation nubble for which we would spend one entire week.
