College education is
not entirely made up of classroom learning and continuous assessment
test and final examinations like high schools. In college, the
students are also given work to go out there research on a specific
topic then write a paper on it and bring it back to the tutor for
grading. This types of work break the monotony of everyday classroom
activities and lets the students experience how it is like to go out
there look for the relevant information themselves and present a
paper on it.
There are those students who are very good at writing
college papers
and there are those who do not even have a clue of what to write in
an academic paper. Those who learn how to write academic papers on
their own are the ones who know what the true meaning of education
is. They are the ones who know that the fruits of education are
bitter. Even if they do the work and end up not getting good grades
they will have gotten something even better, the knowledge that comes
with doing the research. The other lazy ones who had their work
written for them by experts will get good grades but they will not
have gained any knowledge at all.
The writing of academic papers is
not meant as a punishment as most students think. The papers are
meant as a way to make the knowledge that is learnt in class to stick
in the minds of the students. To write the papers are not be as easy
as one may think but it is vital that all the students should write
their own papers to ensure that they do learn something from the
whole experience.
