Locus of Control

Locus of Control I am passing play to address the thought of Locus of Control; there is internal and external. Lets begin with internal locus of chair, this is where an individual perceives that they sustain concur over their behaviors and that the eruptcome of their hard endure is attributed to their decisions. People who formulate internal locus of control believe that they are obligated for their own success. The external locus of control is where an individual perceives that chance, luck, fate, and/or external forces are out of their control and determine their outcomes in life. Julian B Rotter in 1954 came up with what is called now: The Rotter Scale. This assessment scale allows us to see if we have got internal or external locus of control. I have taken two assessments and in both I scored healthy internal locus of control. Have I always possess internal locus of control; I would have to swear no. The reason I say this is that as I was growing up I believed that my life and its happenings were due to my luck, fate, and/ or even destiny. As I have gotten older I have realized that we are responsible for certain aspects or our own lives.

I do believe that we have the luxury of choice, but I also believe that there are instances that fate and circumstances play a part in our lives. Let me give you an example of what I mean; permits say that you have to be at work every day at 8:00 am. You have control of leaving your home at a certain sentence to arrive at work on time, but we do not have the control to predict if there is going to be an accident or if your car breaks down. In the human face that your car breaks down, you have the ability to keep your car maintained, and in good running conditions, but that still does not correspond you that it allow for not break down or that you will not have an accident.
