Picasso, along with an artist named Georges Braque, created Cubism (1909 -1912). Cubism; a behavior of art that takes a subject and turns it into geometric shapes which breaks down the compass of vision into discontinuous segments (Janaro, Altshuler 150). During this time Picasso and Braque analyzed the shapes to help attend them through the process of turning a subject into cubes. This was fundamentally helping to break down the subject so it could so be considered, “Cubism.”
