Cold War Ideology and Policies

Introduction Many changes happened to America due to WWII. Some of the changes that occurred were Cold fight policies, along with the way Americans thought about communism, and the effects it could pitch on their civilization, and international relations. When the war had ended, the United States scrimping was booming, along with its great military and superior firepower that included the nuclear bomb. With the U.S. having such a powerful military, and the booming economy, the Soviet Union felt threatened and increased the output of weapons and military prowess. The aspiration between the U.S. and the Soviet Unions race for favorable position turned into what is this instant called the Arms Race.

This cold war was a political battle between two countries in order to find out whose government was the strongest, Democracy or Communism. With the efforts to help Europe, Stalin went on the defensive. There was a lot of tension between Stalin and the U.S. because the Soviets cute all of Germany, but because of the policies drawn up by NATO alliances, the United States would not let that happen. Therefore, in spring 1948 Stalin tried to shut up access to Berlin. The Berlin Airlift was then created which carried supplies into Berlin over Stalins blockade, and Stalin had no choice to lift the blockade....
